Stripe Power

As we all know, it's not easy to look beautiful everyday and nails are no exception. Nails are a lot of work to keep up with but so worth the wait and annoyance. I say annoyance because it's annoying waiting for them to dry and to keep up with them if they chip and have to change the polish at least once a week. The outcome is always great though and keeps me happy.

The nails you see below are done by first doing your base coat, in this case I did a light gray color. Once they are fully dry (probably a few hours) grab some tape and tape off the lines you want to make. Once all are taped, paint the top coat color you want over it, I used a light pink color. After an hour or so, slowly peel off the tape and put a good top coat over your nails and voila! Greatness on the tips of your fingers.

Left to right: Easy Going color; Top Coat; Light Gray color; Base Coat
*Inspired by Sara who told me about the taping technique
